Seems that strategies taught within schools and in services have captured some ideas which move communication forward to some degree.
But when a child has PDA and cannot find a way to communicate effectively and won’t accept different systems and methods due to opposition and avoiding any pressure… what happens next?
PDA is now gaining more momentum in being acknowledged as something needing to be investigated and pursued. But many children’s health and educational services don’t know enough.
What do we do next?
PDA is absolutely unique in how it can be supported and a persons needs met.
